It is time again for the College Area Business District’s annual elections for the Board of Directors. This year we have eight (8) two-year term seats open on the Board.
Make Your Nominations to Our Board of Directors!
All Nominees and those making the nominations must be eligible businesses with a current business tax certificate or a commercial property owner in the College Heights Maintenance Assessment District current with their assessments. Associate Members are also eligible to participate with this process.
If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please complete the Nominations Form return the form by mail to our office (4704 College Avenue, San Diego CA 92115). You may also drop it off, or email it to email@example.com. All forms must be received by Friday, March 8, 2019 at 5:00pm. If mailing your form, it must be postmarked by the Friday, March 8th deadline.
All nominations will be presented and reviewed at the Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Once accepted, the nominees will be included on this year’s election ballot which will be mailed out and available online.
The election results will be presented at the Annual Meeting on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.
Here is the Election Timeline:
- Request for Nominations: Now until 5:00 pm Friday, March 8, 2019.
- Nominations gathered, verified and accepted: During the Board Meeting on March 20, 2019
- Ballot created and made available: Between Friday, March 22, 2019 and Friday, April 5, 2019 (Ballots received or postmarked after this time will not be accepted or counted).
- Election & Annual Meeting Mixer: During the College Area Business District Annual Meeting Mixer on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, time and location to be determined. Notices will be sent to all eligible members.
