What’s New for the BOO! Parade in 2016?
We are glad you asked! The Parade will travel Westward this year!
In the past, the Boulevard BOO! Parade has begun at 59th Street and El Cajon Boulevard and traveled EAST to Aragon Drive.
This year, The Boulevard BOO! Parade will take on a new path as it eerily floats down El Cajon Boulevard. The Parade begins at the intersection of El Cajon Boulevard & Rolando Boulevard and travel WEST to 60th Street. Visitors can still view the parade from the south side of El Cajon Boulevard as they have been doing for the past 11 years.
This route will reduce the impact on the residential areas and significantly reduce the number of side-street closures on the west end of El Cajon Bulevard (between 59th Street and 54th Street). El Cajon Boulevard will only be closed from 59th Street to Montezuma Road. Click here to view the New BOO! Parade Route.
